At Galatians Community Health, we’ve created a caring, compassionate and comprehensive medical care environment to address your child’s developmental, physical and emotional needs.  We offer routine well-child check-ups, immunizations and annual physicals, with an option to schedule same-day sick visits for existing patients.

WELL-CHILD VISITS

Well-child care is the best way to keep your children healthy. As kids grow and develop, parents and caregivers should stay current with their well-child doctor visits, which consist of physical measurements, patient history, sensory screenings, behavioral assessments, immunizations, and other tests and lab work. Intervals for well-child visits are recommended during:

Baby’s first year:

  • 3-5 days after birth

  • 1 month

  • 2 months

  • 4 months

  • 6 months

  • 9 months

  • 12 months

Baby’s second year:

  • 15 months

  • 18 months

  • 24 months

  • 36 months (2 ½ years)

Well-child visits are also recommended at three and four years of age.  After the age of four, children should be seen by a doctor once a year for their annual physical exams and for developmental, behavioral and learning assessments.

Vaccines

Our practice follows vaccine recommendations as presented by the CDC and the NC Immunization Registry. Click below for more information.

Bake to School Physicals

Wake County Public Schools, private and charter schools require students to receive physical exams before entering school and/or participating in school sports. Children who are not Galatians' patients can make a new patient appointment to have their exam completed with us.  Parents and/or guardians of the new patient must bring vaccination records of the child(ren) at the time of visit.

School physical exams include complete physicals as well as all required vaccines.

*Please provide your school's physical forms at your child's visit.
